"The Rest of My Life" by Sheryl Browne




Wow! Sheryl Browne has excelled herself with this book.... there is not much it doesn't have! Love, hate, sex, violence, apparitions.........
 
 
When Sienna first sets eyes on local Lothario and bad boy, Adam, she was in for one heck of a ride... in more ways than one!  Literally haunted by his past, Adam is living a promiscuous and alcohol fuelled existence made possible by his irresistible good looks and no apparent need for commitment.  This made him a favourite with neglected married women and hated by their husbands. But then he met Sienna, single and emotionally wounded, who needed him in a completely different way and completely addled his way of looking at relationships. 
 
 
Despite receiving advice from friends and family to stay away, Sienna could not erase what she knew she had seen in the eyes of this man who could take her places she had never been before. In the name of research for her novel, she learnt more about her body and the art of lovemaking than she dreamed possible but she had not intended on losing her heart in the process. She was determined to find out more about Adam and why his behaviour seemed to contradict what she sensed of the real man.


 
Self destructive Adam made it as difficult as possible for his friends, family and Sienna to believe that he could ever turn his negative existence into a positive outcome as life seemed to be plotting against him with little resistance from himself. Keeping secrets and not declaring his feelings certainly did not help. "Typical man", I can hear you all saying, however, Sienna was guilty of the same which did not help matters.
 
Without giving any more of the story away, I would like to say that if you want  to read a great and unusual plot and setting with  fascinating characters, poignant scenes and some amazingly detailed, pulse-raising steamy encounters, this is definitely the book for you!

Death Sentence  by  Sheryl Browne I have been a fan of Sheryl Browne for quite a while and have really enjoyed her romance novels.  This book was a gritty step in another direction and had me terrified and mesmerized at the same time. What did you Want to be when you Grew Up?

What did you want to be when you grew up? Looking at what I now want to do career wise it made me remember what I said I wanted to be when I was a kid.
